1. Overview

RoomX AI is committed to customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines our cancellation, refund, and subscription management procedures. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing.

2. Free Plan

The Free Plan does not require payment and can be used indefinitely. You may upgrade to a paid plan at any time. No refunds apply to the Free Plan.

3. Paid Subscriptions

3.1 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

  1. Logging into your account
  2. Navigating to Dashboard → Account
  3. Clicking "Manage Subscription"
  4. Following the Stripe billing portal instructions to cancel

Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will retain full access to all features until the period ends
  • No further charges will be made after the current period
  • Your account will automatically downgrade to the Free Plan

3.2 No Partial Refunds

We do not offer prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations. If you cancel on day 10 of a 30-day billing cycle, you will not receive a refund for the remaining 20 days, but you retain access until the cycle ends.

4. Refund Eligibility

4.1 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied with RoomX AI, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription payment.

Conditions for refund eligibility:

  • Request must be made within 7 days of the first payment
  • Only applies to your first subscription (renewals are not eligible)
  • Does not apply to upgrades or downgrades from an existing subscription

4.2 Technical Issues

If you experience significant technical issues that prevent you from using the Service, and we are unable to resolve them within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a prorated refund. Contact us at support@roomxai.com to discuss your situation.

4.3 Fraudulent or Duplicate Charges

If you are charged due to a billing error or duplicate transaction, we will issue a full refund for the erroneous charge. Please contact us immediately if you notice an incorrect charge.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • Subscription renewals beyond the initial 7-day guarantee period
  • Cancellations made after the 7-day period
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated results (quality is subjective and input-dependent)
  • Failure to use your subscription or daily/monthly limits
  • Account suspension or termination due to Terms of Service violations
  • Changes in personal circumstances or business needs

6. Upgrades and Downgrades

6.1 Upgrading Your Plan

When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan:

  • The upgrade takes effect immediately
  • You are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the billing cycle
  • Your next billing date remains the same
  • Higher usage limits apply immediately

6.2 Downgrading Your Plan

When you downgrade to a lower-tier plan:

  • The downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle
  • You retain your current plan's benefits until the period ends
  • You will be charged the lower price starting from the next billing date
  • No refund is provided for the difference

6.3 Switching Between Plans

You may change plans as many times as you like. Upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing, while downgrades take effect at renewal.

7. How to Request a Refund

We will review your request within 3-5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed via the original payment method and may take 7-10 business days to appear on your statement.

8. Billing Disputes

All payments are processed through Stripe. If you dispute a charge with your bank or credit card company (chargeback), your account may be suspended pending investigation. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve billing issues before initiating a chargeback.

9. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price increase. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

10. Trial Periods and Promotions

From time to time, we may offer promotional trial periods or discounts. Unless otherwise stated, refund policies for promotional periods follow the same rules as standard subscriptions. Trial periods that convert to paid subscriptions are subject to the 7-day guarantee from the date of the first charge.
