Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the standards of behavior expected from all RoomX AI users. By using our Service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

2. Permitted Use

RoomX AI is designed exclusively for:

• Real estate marketing: Virtual staging of residential and commercial properties for listing purposes
• Interior design visualization: Showcasing design concepts for clients
• Property development: Pre-sale marketing for new developments
• Professional use: Real estate agents, brokers, photographers, and stagers

Use of RoomX AI must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including MLS disclosure requirements.

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Illegal or Fraudulent Use

You may NOT use RoomX AI to:

• Create fraudulent or deceptive property listings
• Misrepresent property conditions or mislead buyers
• Generate images for properties you do not have authorization to market
• Violate fair housing laws or engage in discriminatory practices
• Conduct any illegal activity or support unlawful purposes

3.2 Inappropriate Content

You may NOT upload or generate:

• Offensive, obscene, or sexually explicit content
• Violent, hateful, or discriminatory imagery
• Content that promotes illegal activities or harm to others
• Images containing personal information or identifiable individuals without consent
• Copyrighted materials you do not have rights to use

3.3 Service Abuse

You may NOT:

• Circumvent usage limits: Use multiple accounts, bots, or automation to exceed daily/monthly quotas
• Resell or redistribute: Offer RoomX AI's services to third parties without authorization
• Share accounts: Allow others to use your account credentials
• Reverse engineer: Attempt to copy, replicate, or extract our AI models or technology
• Scrape or extract data: Use automated tools to download or harvest content from our platform
• Overload systems: Submit excessive requests designed to disrupt or degrade service performance

3.4 Intellectual Property Violations

You may NOT:

• Upload images you do not own or have permission to use
• Generate content that infringes on trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights
• Remove or alter watermarks from Free Plan content
• Claim ownership of RoomX AI's platform, branding, or technology

4. Account Sharing and Multi-User Access

4.1 Individual Accounts

Each RoomX AI subscription is intended for use by a single individual or entity. Sharing login credentials or allowing multiple users to access one account is prohibited.

4.2 Agency and Team Use

If you are a brokerage or agency requiring multi-user access, please contact us at support@roomxai.com to discuss team licensing options. The Agency plan is designed for organizational use, but each user should have their own credentials.

5. Content Quality and Accuracy Standards

5.1 Photo Uploads

When uploading property photos, you must:

• Use images of actual, real properties
• Ensure photos are clear and of sufficient quality (minimum 1080p recommended)
• Have legal authorization to market the property

5.2 MLS and Listing Disclosure

You are responsible for complying with MLS disclosure rules. When posting AI-generated staging images to MLS, Zillow, Realtor.com, or any listing platform, you must clearly disclose that images are virtually staged (e.g., "Virtually Staged" or "Photos Virtually Staged").

Failure to disclose virtual staging may violate MLS rules and consumer protection laws. RoomX AI is not responsible for non-compliance.

6. Fair Use for "Unlimited" Plans

The Agency plan offers "unlimited" staging images and listing videos, subject to fair use. Fair use is defined as:

• Normal business usage: Generating images and videos for active property listings
• Reasonable volume: Usage consistent with typical real estate agency operations

Excessive use that violates fair use includes:

• Generating thousands of images per day using automated scripts
• Using the Service as a bulk processing tool for non-real-estate purposes
• Reselling virtually staged content at scale

We reserve the right to investigate unusual usage patterns and may throttle or suspend accounts that exceed fair use limits.

7. Security and Account Protection

7.1 Password Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Using a strong, unique password
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

7.2 Unauthorized Access

Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, our servers, or backend systems. Hacking, phishing, or exploiting vulnerabilities is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

8. Monitoring and Enforcement

8.1 Content Monitoring

RoomX AI reserves the right to monitor uploads and generated content to ensure compliance with this AUP. We use automated and manual reviews to detect prohibited content.

8.2 Enforcement Actions

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a warning
• Temporary suspension: Repeated or moderate violations may result in account suspension
• Permanent termination: Serious violations (fraud, illegal content, abuse) result in immediate account termination without refund
• Legal action: We may report illegal activity to law enforcement

8.3 Appeals

If your account is suspended or terminated and you believe it was in error, you may contact us at support@roomxai.com to request a review.

9. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violations of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report them to us immediately:
