Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the standards of behavior expected from all RoomX AI users. By using our Service, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

2. Permitted Use

RoomX AI is designed exclusively for:

• Real estate marketing: Virtual staging of residential and commercial properties for listing purposes
• Interior design visualization: Showcasing design concepts for clients
• Property development: Pre-sale marketing for new developments
• Professional use: Real estate agents, brokers, photographers, and stagers

Use of RoomX AI must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including MLS disclosure requirements.

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Illegal or Fraudulent Use

You may NOT use RoomX AI to:

• Create fraudulent or deceptive property listings
• Misrepresent property conditions or mislead buyers
• Generate images for properties you do not have authorization to market
• Violate fair housing laws or engage in discriminatory practices
• Conduct any illegal activity or support unlawful purposes

3.2 Inappropriate Content

You may NOT upload or generate:

• Offensive, obscene, or sexually explicit content
• Violent, hateful, or discriminatory imagery
• Content that promotes illegal activities or harm to others
• Images containing personal information or identifiable individuals without consent
• Copyrighted materials you do not have rights to use

3.3 Service Abuse

You may NOT:

• Circumvent usage limits: Use multiple accounts, bots, or automation to bypass credit charges, free-plan limits, or fair-use caps
• Resell or redistribute: Offer RoomX AI's services to third parties without authorization
• Share accounts: Allow others to use your account credentials
• Reverse engineer: Attempt to copy, replicate, or extract our AI models or technology
• Scrape or extract data: Use automated tools to download or harvest content from our platform
• Overload systems: Submit excessive requests designed to disrupt or degrade service performance

3.4 Intellectual Property Violations

You may NOT:

• Upload images you do not own or have permission to use
• Generate content that infringes on trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights
• Remove or alter watermarks from Free Plan content
• Claim ownership of RoomX AI's platform, branding, or technology

3.5 AI-Generated Content Restrictions

RoomX AI generates images and videos with third-party AI models (see AI Models & Providers). You may NOT upload, generate, or attempt to generate:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance: Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors, including real, AI-generated, or edited imagery. Violations result in immediate permanent termination and are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.
• Deepfakes and impersonation: Content that depicts a real person saying or doing something they did not say or do, fabricated likenesses of real people, or any use of the Service to impersonate another person, brand, or organization.
• Use of another person's likeness without consent: Photos containing identifiable people who have not given permission for their image to be processed.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery: Sexual or intimate content of any real person.
• Deceptive property imagery: Output used to hide defects or misrepresent a property's condition, structure, or size.

The Service is intended for photos of rooms and property interiors or exteriors only. Please do not upload photos in which people are the subject.

4. Account Sharing and Multi-User Access

4.1 Individual Accounts

Each RoomX AI subscription is intended for use by a single individual or entity. Sharing login credentials or allowing multiple users to access one account is prohibited.

4.2 Brokerage and Team Use

If you are a brokerage or agency requiring multi-user access, please contact us at support@roomxai.com to discuss team options. Each user should have their own credentials; credits and accounts may not be shared between users.

5. Content Quality and Accuracy Standards

5.1 Photo Uploads

When uploading property photos, you must:

• Use images of actual, real properties
• Ensure photos are clear and of sufficient quality (minimum 1080p recommended)
• Have legal authorization to market the property

5.2 MLS and Listing Disclosure

You are responsible for complying with MLS disclosure rules. When posting AI-generated staging images to MLS, Zillow, Realtor.com, or any listing platform, you must clearly disclose that images are virtually staged (e.g., "Virtually Staged" or "Photos Virtually Staged").

Failure to disclose virtual staging may violate MLS rules and consumer protection laws. RoomX AI is not responsible for non-compliance.

6. Fair Use and Automated Abuse

6.1 Listing Slideshow Videos

Listing slideshow videos are assembled from your existing staged photos without AI generation. For customers on a credit plan they do not use credits, subject to a fair-use cap of 20 slideshow videos per day. Slideshows are intended for marketing your active property listings.

6.2 Credit-Based Generation

AI staging images and AI scene videos use credits from your balance. On credit plans, up to 3 generation tasks can run at the same time. No plan offers unlimited generation.

6.3 Automated Abuse

The following are not permitted:

• Using bots, scripts, or multiple accounts to bypass credit charges, the slideshow cap, or concurrency limits
• Submitting large volumes of automated requests designed to disrupt or degrade the Service
• Using the Service as a bulk processing tool for non-real-estate purposes
• Reselling virtually staged content or access to the Service at scale

We reserve the right to investigate unusual usage patterns and may throttle or suspend accounts that engage in these activities.

7. Security and Account Protection

7.1 Password Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Using a strong, unique password
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

7.2 Unauthorized Access

Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, our servers, or backend systems. Hacking, phishing, or exploiting vulnerabilities is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

8. Content Safety and Enforcement

8.1 How Generation Is Restricted

• No free-form prompts: Users cannot write their own prompts. Every image is generated from fixed, server-side instructions that only add furniture and decor to the uploaded room, combined with a preset design style.
• Provider safety filters: Every image passes through Google's built-in safety filters for Nano Banana Pro, which reject unsafe input and output.
• Video only from approved output: Videos can only be created from images that the platform has already generated. Users cannot submit their own images or text to the video model, and camera motion is limited to a fixed set of presets.
• Human review: We manually review all reported content and any account flagged by provider rejections or unusual usage.

8.2 Enforcement Actions

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Content removal: Violating uploads and outputs are deleted from our storage
• Warning: First-time minor violations may receive a warning
• Temporary suspension: Repeated or moderate violations may result in account suspension
• Permanent termination: CSAM, deepfakes, impersonation, fraud, or other serious violations result in immediate termination without refund
• Reporting to authorities: Suspected CSAM is reported to NCMEC, and other illegal activity is reported to law enforcement where required by law

8.3 Appeals

If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, contact support@roomxai.com to request a review. Appeals are not available for CSAM violations.

9. Reporting Violations

To report content or an account that violates this policy, including suspected CSAM, deepfakes, or impersonation, email support@roomxai.com with the subject line "Abuse Report". You can also use our contact form.

Please include:

• A link to or description of the content
• The account involved, if known
• Why you believe it violates this policy

We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and act on confirmed CSAM immediately. If you are the person shown in content created without your consent, tell us and we will prioritize your report.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Service or legal requirements. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through a notice on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
